Locations
Our locations for non-hospital intensive care
ZBI Group Berlin
At ZBI Berlin (Storkower Bogen), we combine non-clinical intensive care with clear rehabilitation goals: respiratory care with the aim of weaning patients off ventilation, long-term neurological rehabilitation (phase F/persistent vegetative state), specialised wound management and palliative support where indicated. Specially trained respiratory therapists work closely with nursing and therapy staff (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc.). Relatives are involved in a structured manner; visits are easy to arrange. Modern equipment (monitoring, emergency call system), therapy areas (including Snoezelen) and the barrier-free location support safe, dignified care.
ZBI Group Hamburg
Our intensive care shared accommodation in Hamburg-Eilbek offers a homely environment for non-clinical intensive care. For referring physicians, we organise a seamless transfer from the hospital; for relatives, designated contact persons, transparent processes and predictable visiting hours are important. Goal-oriented respiratory care (with the option of weaning) and interdisciplinary therapy ensure continuity – in close cooperation with treating hospitals and cost bearers.

Our locations
At the ZBI in Berlin and Hamburg, patients requiring intensive care receive specialised outpatient care – from respiratory care with the aim of weaning them off ventilation to long-term neurological rehabilitation (Phase F). A multi-professional team (nursing, respiratory therapy, therapy) works according to clear standards; relatives are actively involved. In Berlin, barrier-free rooms, monitoring and therapy/Snoezelen areas support rehabilitation; in Hamburg, intensive care shared accommodation offers a safe, homely alternative to the clinic. Close cooperation with clinics enables an orderly transition from acute care.
